About

SARAH SHAW-STAHLKE, CPA

Meet Sarah

Sarah was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska where she spent her upbringing skiing on the frozen Chena River and admiring the wonder of the Aurora Borealis and midnight sun. After graduating from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Sarah worked at public accounting firms across the nation in Alaska, Pennsylvania and Arizona before finally settling in Portland, Oregon—a place she is proud to call home.

For many years Sarah worked at a large regional Oregon CPA firm as a leader in the construction and tax departments before finally deciding a firm partnership wasn’t the career path for her. She left her position as a senior manager and opened her own practice in order to spend more time doing what she loves—working with and advising clients.

Sarah lives with her husband and calico cat in the Portland Metro area, and spends her time baking, gardening and exploring Oregon’s extensive trail system.
